Mulch Like You Mean It

For months now, the wells at the bases of our oak trees in the backyard have been barren; just dirt covered the poor roots of these young trees. So finally, I got out there with some top soil and mulch and dressed those trees right!

Of course, I needed an assistant. And Cade was ready with his little shovel. Jack was also helping us, but he used his bucket as more of a hat than a mulch delivery system. Didn't get any pictures of Jack... but Cade was working so hard that I had to snap a few of him!
