More Sprinkler Fun

The kids and I went down to spend a week at my mom's while Scott was in Atlanta for work. One of the highlights of the week for the boys was playing in the sprinkler. Again. Enjoy the pics!

Happy Graduation, Cade!

I am obviously naive. Apparently I need to get out more. I had no idea that, when I attended Cade and Jack's end-of-the-year program at their Mother's Day Out (it's called "school" in our house), that Cade would be graduating. From pre-school. In a cap and gown. With a tassel.

Is it me or is this kind of ridiculous?

Regardless (FYI: irregardless is not a word!), it does make for great pictures!

Cade received "Most Polite" in his class. I guess that's better than the "Don't go In There After Me" award a la Kevin from The Office.

Receiving his 'diploma' from Ms Lynette, his teacher.

The very proud graduate...

Weekend without Dad

The weekend of May 2-4, Scott was in Fort Worth filling in for a friend at The Driver's Edge (it's the racing events he used to do before we had so many kids). So I decided to take the kids to the pond in our neighborhood to feed the ducks. Unfortunately, all the ducks were scared of us (can't imagine why -- two screaming little boys running and chasing the ducks, and the ducks were scared?) so we weren't able to feed them. But we still had a nice walk and fun looking at the ducks and turtles.

What is the obvious thing to do when you get home from a hot, sweaty walk to the pond? You and your brother climb into the laundry basket of course!

For the most part, the boys play well together. And we are so grateful. We want them to be close friends.

Flesh

What would summer be without baring a little flesh?

Here is Jack Jack playing in the sprinkler in the backyard. This kid loves the sprinkler!

Claire Pics

Here are some pics from May 2nd... sorry these are so late in being posted. As you can imagine, things have been a little hectic, crazy, and not normal around here.

Here she is in her high chair:

And since she's got people to see and things to do, Claire is now pulling up on everything and getting close to walking. Here she is when she first started standing...

Busted

Scott totally busted me for being cheap. So I went ahead and bought a card reader -- at full retail price. I think I'm going to be sick.

I will post pictures later today. That's not a promise. It's more wishful thinking than anything else!

Happy Birthday, Claire!

I'm in complete shock that my baby girl is no longer a baby! Where has the time gone?

Claire is a happy, active, smiley, active, funny, active, sensitive, active little girl. She is more precious than words can describe, and as the boys put it, she's our favorite little girl in the whole world!

Happy Birthday, Jack!

Our little Jack Jack is 3 years old today! Can't believe he is that old.

We had a small birthday party for Jack on Saturday, and he had a grand ol' time. I'll post pictures when I can. My card reader is still not working, and, me being the frugal meister, I'm waiting to get a good deal on one rather than pay full price.

We also had a 1st birthday party for Claire Bear, but more on that tomorrow: her birthday!
