House Update

We've sold our house! After only 4 days on the market, we received multiple offers and accepted one. WOW! That went by so quickly! Now we have to get through the inspection...

We have an offer (after 2 days on the market)! It's a little too low, so we'll counter probably. But who knows?!? Exciting stuff!

The house is finally on the market! After weeks and many hours, we finally got the house into showable shape. Why did we wait so long to make the house look that good?!?

Whew! I'm Tired!

It was a busy weekend for our little family: we moved into our new house! It wasn't quite the ginormous move. We're leaving almost all of our furniture at the old house to stage it. So we really just packed our personal belongings and food.

I went back over to the old house this morning to gather a few more odds and ends that don't need to be there, and it was STRANGE walking into our house. Because it wasn't all junked up like it normally is! Normally I have a stack of papers here, a collection of toys I picked up off the floor over there, backpacks and diaper bags slung over there in a heap... and none of that was there this morning. The house actually looked... good! It's amazing what your house can look like if you can declutter (and if you don't have kids).
