Home Again

I'm back home now. Will hopefully post some pics soon.

My Mom and I are doing OK, as well as can be expected. I don't think I've quite gotten over the shock of it all. And I think it's just now dawning on me that my Daddy is gone. I'm broken hearted, and I feel like I've been kicked in the gut.

But life must go on, and our three little ones need their Mommy back. So here I am, for better or worse, for tantrums and PBJ smiles, for dirty laundry and juice boxes.

The day the obit appeared on the Houston Chronicle, a writer from the newspaper called the house and wanted to write a featurette on Dad for the obituary section (how cool!). This article appeared in the Chronicle on Friday.

To all my friends and family who have expressed their love and are praying, thank you. I can't adequatley express my gratitude and thankfulness for such loving friends and family. I'm thankful that we serve a great God who is in the business of sustaining us and being strong in our weakness.

I will post the obituary I wrote for my Dad a little later.
